Morningness Eveningness Questionnaire

The Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire (MEQ) is like taking a Buzzfeed quiz, but instead of finding out which "Friends" character you are, you'll discover your sleep-self! Are you a "rise and shine" type, ready to take on the day like a boss, just like Beyonce in the morning? Or are you more of a "night owl" who gets their second wind after sunset, like a nocturnal version of Drake? This 19-question survey will reveal your chronotype, and can also help identify any potential sleep disorders.

MEQ scores are typically categorized into three groups: "morning types", "intermediate types", and "evening types". Morning types are those who prefer to wake up early and are most alert and productive in the morning, like a early bird from "Looney Tunes" cartoon. Evening types, on the other hand, prefer to stay up late and are most alert and productive at night, like a batman who only works at night. Intermediate types fall in between these two groups and have less of a preference for either morning or evening activity, like a cat from "Tom and Jerry" who is not sure when to sleep or wake up.

Understanding one's chronotype can help individuals plan their daily activities and schedule, as well as help them make better-informed decisions about sleep and wake times. It can also help identify individuals who may be at risk for sleep disorders, such as insomnia or delayed sleep phase disorder, and aid in providing appropriate treatment or recommendations.
